Open Horizon Europe Cybersecurity Calls

We would like to draw your attention to the Horizon Europe cybersecurity calls coordinated by the ECCC, which are currently open with a submission deadline of 15 September 2026.

The calls include several key research and innovation topics:

• Approaches and tools for security in software and hardware development and assessment (HORIZON-CL3-2026-02-CS-ECCC-01, EUR 20 million), supporting innovative methods, tools and processes for secure hardware and software development, including security-by-design, secure supply chains, hardware security and AI-based security testing.
• Enhancing the Security, Privacy and Robustness of AI Models and Systems (SecureAI) (HORIZON-CL3-2026-02-CS-ECCC-02, EUR 21.2 million), supporting solutions addressing adversarial attacks, data poisoning, backdoor threats and other emerging risks, in line with the AI Act.
• Advanced cryptographic schemes and High-Assurance high-speed cryptographic implementations (HORIZON-CL3-2026-02-CS-ECCC-03, EUR 15 million), focusing on advanced and post-quantum cryptographic solutions and high-assurance, high-performance cryptographic implementations.
